Changing taps is one of the jobs the handymen are frequently asked to carry out.

Most of the time taps are provided by the customer, although your Surrey Handyman will often be able to give advice on the type to buy and can sometimes purchase for you if you have something in mind.

Your Surrey Handyman:-

Will arrive with the tools to isolate the water and remove your existing taps
Will also advise you if he thinks that the existing tap can be repaired
Will have most common fittings in stock though may need to purchase additional for any non standard fittings such as European Imports
Will ensure you are not without water all day
Will use any parts you supply
Will Guarantee their work
Is fully insured
Will issue a pdf receipt

How Long?

If your taps don’t have local isolating valves, turning off the water can sometimes be the most time consuming part of this job. Knowing where your stop valve is and having it accessible can speed this up. This may be beneath the sink, outside the front of your house or other odd locations especially if your house has been extended at some time.

If your stop valve doesn’t move think about spraying it with some penetrating oil before the visit. Your handyman should be able to free up most exposed corroded valves.
